WILDLIFE SMART SYSTEMS

People can open it.
Wildlife stays outside.

NFC opening designed for waste containers in areas visited by bears and wild boar: access for people without prior registration, alongside systems that recognise authorised cards.

NFC

What sets a person apart from a bear or a wild boar?

The ability to carry a phone, a contactless bank card or an NFC card. This simple observation inspired our opening system without an authorised-user list.

OPEN NFC ACCESS

No card registration required.

We have developed a system that opens when it detects an NFC device or card, without checking its identifier against a list of authorised users. There is no need to issue a dedicated card or register each visitor in advance.

The user brings a detectable NFC device or card close to the reader: for example, a smartphone with NFC enabled, a contactless bank card or an NFC card. The aim is to give people access without leaving the container freely openable by wildlife.

ACCESS WITH CARD RECOGNITION

For services that need authorised users.

We also build systems that recognise individual cards and allow opening only for authorised users. This option suits services that require restricted access and permission management.

The administration panel can associate cards with users and add or disable permissions. The example cards and interface shown on this page relate to this access mode.

WILDLIFE AND PLACE

Technology meets behaviour.

Where wildlife is present, access to food waste is an important part of container management. Our approach combines the container structure with an opening action normally available to people.

Correct closure after every use is also essential. The container structure and access mode are selected for each installation context.

SMART BIN

Smart containers, data for better management.

Beyond access control, Smart Bin configurations can include fill-level measurement, usage detection, solar power and data transmission. Equipment is defined for each project.

01

Fill level

Sensors help track waste levels and plan collection.

02

Power supply

Solar panel and battery for standalone configurations.

03

Monitoring

Container data and status are available through a management platform.

CARD-RECOGNITION ACCESS

Example cards and user instructions.

Cards are used in projects with card recognition and access restricted to authorised users. Open NFC access does not require a dedicated card.

Example waste collection access cards

The right access mode for each service.

Graphics, instructions and permissions are defined for each project. These examples include cards for bear-protection containers and separate paper and plastic collection.
